The story of the Rotaract Club of Cavendish University Uganda is a story of young people who chose to turn their passion for service into action.

Born within the university community, our club brings together students and young professionals who believe that leadership is not simply about holding a position it is about creating opportunities, serving others, and leaving a positive mark wherever we go.

Over time, RAC Cavendish has grown into a community of young leaders who learn from one another, build meaningful friendships, develop professionally, and take action on issues affecting our communities. From supporting children battling cancer to promoting health awareness, environmental conservation, mentorship, and community development, our journey has been shaped by a willingness to identify needs and respond with purpose.

Our story is also one of partnership and collaboration. We have worked alongside Rotary and Rotaract clubs, universities, organizations, professionals, and community stakeholders because we understand that lasting impact is rarely created alone. Every partnership, project, volunteer, and member has contributed a chapter to our journey.

What makes our story special is not the number of activities we have conducted, but the people and lives behind them the member who discovered their confidence through leadership, the volunteer who gave their time, the partner who believed in our vision, and the community member whose life was touched by our service.

As we continue to grow, our ambition remains clear: to build a club that is purpose-driven, inclusive, visible, and sustainable, while developing young leaders who will continue serving long after their time at university.
